I am honored to be a participating artist in the New Brow of Portland show exhibiting at the Portland Center for Performing Arts. 50 artists have artwork in this show. The piece I have entered is my newest work and carries the theme of mothers, daughters and attachments.

Exit 21 Art Show

Join me at Exit 21 on August 6 for refreshments and to view my art on display (I will have at least one new -never shown before- piece on display). Art prints will also be available for purchase. Exit 21 is a wonderful place to shop for locally made gems. Their mission is to provide a place for people to buy art and handmade goods created in the Portland area. Their gallery space in the Hawthorne District showcases a variety of items; from handmade wallets and jewelry to large metal sculpture and art.

That’s right – we are going to try this again! Come on out to the Pearl district and view the art and gallery scene. Splendorporium is showcasing art that is either larger than 6 feet or smaller than 6 inches. They also put on spectacular opening receptions! I have 4 small pieces in this show and look forward to viewing the large and the small – but always hugely imaginative – artwork on display.

Where: Po’ Boy Art Gallery & Framing – 1421 SE Stark

The Po’ Boy grand opening show is 88 strong: 88 ideas, done on 8×8 panels. This is a one night only event presented by Jason Brown (Po’ Boy Art / Framing) and Chris Haberman (Chris Haberman Presents). All art is $50. This is a cash and carry show. Pull it right off the wall and take it home that night.

Tender Loving Empire presents the Rad Hatter show: 30+ trucker hats have been distributed to 30+ local artists to modify and embellish at will. Come see the fun, wearable art we came up with. Showing all through July at the Tender Loving Empire store in Portland. Show opens on July 1st with an awesome fun first Thursday event and runs through the end of the month.
