This is part of my series "Mythed Flight". I’ve reimagined winged mythological women using my own interpretations & symbols, and endowed them with unconventional wings.
 
Tracing back to medieval legend, the succubus is a demon that appears in dreams and takes the form of a woman in order to seduce men, usually through sexual activity. My interpretation of a Succubus has her sucking the life force from her victim’s skull.
